The Role Join a safety-focused, energetic, and team-oriented company in a fast-paced environment at Adelaide Airport. As a Catering Attendant, you will play a key role in preparing, assembling, packing, and delivering airline catering while ensuring all products meet strict quality, safety, and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and prepare airline meal trays and catering equipment to customer specifications.
- Load and unload catering carts and equipment for aircraft servicing.
- Ensure all catering items are packed accurately and delivered on time.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times.
- Follow company procedures, quality assurance, and HACCP requirements.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, and moving catering carts and stock.
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced production and logistics team to meet flight schedules.
- Assist with general cleaning and maintaining an organised work environment.
Selection Criteria - Previous experience in catering, food production, hospitality, or a similar environment is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including early mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Current driver's licence (desirable but not essential).
