The Role
We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Forklift Drivers to join our team at Brisbane Airport (BNE). In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of airline catering equipment, stock, and materials within a fast-paced aviation environment.

This position plays a key role in ensuring timely aircraft catering operations, accurate stock handling, and safe loading and unloading procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move catering equipment, stock, and materials.
• Load and unload trucks, catering vehicles, and storage areas.
• Transport airline catering carts and supplies within operational areas.
• Ensure all loads are handled safely and in accordance with operational procedures.
• Conduct routine forklift checks and report any faults or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate handling and storage of stock and equipment.
• Follow all airport safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Work collaboratively with catering, logistics, and ramp teams to meet flight schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Selection Criteria

• Current and valid Forklift Licence (LF) – essential.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, or aviation environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work a seven-day rotating roster, including early mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
