The Role
We are seeking a safety-focused and reliable Aircraft Marshaller to join our team at Brisbane Airport (BNE). In this role, you will be responsible for guiding aircraft safely to and from parking bays using standard marshalling signals, ensuring all ground movements are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with airport procedures.
This is a critical airside role requiring strong attention to detail, clear communication, and strict adherence to safety and aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely guide aircraft into and out of parking positions using standard marshalling signals.
• Ensure aircraft are correctly positioned and safely secured on stand.
• Communicate clearly with flight crew and ground operations teams.
• Conduct visual checks of ramp areas to ensure they are clear and safe for aircraft movement.
• Follow all airport safety, security, and airside operational procedures.
• Assist with basic ground support tasks as required.
• Maintain high awareness of aircraft movements and potential hazards.
• Work closely with ramp, catering, and operations teams to ensure on-time performance.

Selection Criteria

• Previous experience in ramp operations or aircraft marshalling is highly regarded but not essential (training may be provided).
• Strong awareness of airside safety procedures and operational discipline.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor, fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work a seven-day rotating roster, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
