The Role

We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Operators to join our food manufacturing (bakery) team based in Melrose Park, Sydney. In this role, you will assist in the preparation, production, packaging, and handling of bakery products in a fast-paced, high-volume food production environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, strong hygiene practices, and the ability to work efficiently within a production line environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and production of bakery and food items.
• Operate production line equipment (training provided where required).
• Pack, label, and prepare products for dispatch in line with specifications.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.
• Follow HACCP, quality assurance, and company operational procedures.
• Conduct visual quality checks to ensure product consistency and standards.
• Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, stacking, and moving goods.
• Work collaboratively within a fast-paced production team to meet daily targets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Selection Criteria

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, bakery, hospitality, or production environments is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of hygiene and food safety practices (training provided).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive production environment.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Availability to work across a seven-day rotating roster, including early mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Full Australian working rights.
