About the Role
  
As a cold store forklift operator at Melbourne Airport, you’ll be an essential part of the team responsible for handling international cargo and keeping operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:

• Operating a forklift to unload aircraft units
• Manual handling
• Removing cargo nets and shrink-wrap from pallets
• Loading airfreight onto trucks
• Operating hoists to safely manoeuvre aircraft units
• Working in a cold store
• Working with perishables & carcus's

Rosters & Pay
  

• Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Weekday rates: $33per hour, with applicable shift penalties

  
What We’re Looking For
  

• Forklift competency and experience in freight handling
• A strong desire to grow and learn in the airfreight industry
• Clean criminal record
• Ability to pass ongoing drug & alcohol testing
• Previous cold store experience
• Ability to work with perishables & carcus's
• Reliable, team-focused attitude
