The Role
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused MR/HR Drivers to join our team at Melbourne Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of airline catering equipment and products between the catering facility and aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to aviation security and operational procedures.

This is a fast-paced, time-critical role operating within the aviation environment, requiring strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate MR/HR vehicles within the airport precinct and airside areas.
• Transport airline catering carts and equipment to and from aircraft.
• Load and unload catering vehicles in line with operational procedures.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within strict timeframes.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Comply with all airport safety, security, and airside driving regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic presentation of vehicles and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with catering and operations teams to meet flight schedules.

Selection Criteria

• Current MR or HR Driver’s Licence (essential).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive airport environment.
• Previous experience in a similar driving or logistics role is highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
