Please note: Due to the 24/7 nature of airfreight operations, successful applicants must be available to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a rotating roster. Full availability is essential.

About the Role

As an Airfreight Terminal Operator, you'll play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of international cargo through a busy airfreight facility. Working as part of a high-performing team, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating forklifts to load, unload, and move freight throughout the warehouse and terminal
• Breaking down inbound import shipments and preparing freight for distribution
• Building up export consignments in accordance with airline and operational requirements
• Loading and unloading airfreight from trucks and aircraft containers
• Removing cargo nets, straps, and shrink-wrap from freight pallets
• Sorting, scanning, and handling freight to ensure accurate processing and dispatch
• Performing manual handling duties as required
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Ensuring all freight is handled in line with safety, security, and operational procedures

Rosters & Pay

• Rotating roster across morning, afternoon, and night shifts
• Full availability across all shift patterns is essential
• This role is not suited to candidates seeking fixed shifts, part-time hours, or limited availability
• Weekday rates ranging from $33–$40 per hour, plus applicable shift penalties

What We're Looking For

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Previous forklift experience, ideally within freight, transport, warehousing, logistics, or airfreight environments
• Experience handling palletised freight and working in fast-paced operations is highly regarded
• Full-time availability and flexibility to work across morning, afternoon, and night shifts on a rotating roster
• Ability to commit to a rotating roster on an ongoing basis
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop within the airfreight industry
• Ability to pass ongoing drug and alcohol testing
• Clean criminal record
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented approach
